Nuclear Science Merit Badge Day will be held at the Atomic Testing Museum and at University of Nevada, Las Vegas on November 7, 2009. Sponsored by Nuclear Science Students, American Nuclear Society, Nevada Section of Health Physics Society, Lake Mead Chapter, the Atomic Testing Museum, and the Nuclear Energy Institute.

This is an opportunity to receive the Nuclear Science Merit Badge in a single day. UNLV Nuclear Science graduate students will be available to operate stations that will allow you to receive your merit badge for attending the entire workshop from 8am-5pm (including an hour for lunch).

We recommend that older scouts attend this event. We will allow anyone who wants to participate to attend, but we ask that you use your judgment to determine the interest level of the Scouts. Also, we must limit the attendance to the first 40 scouts to sign up.

For more details and sign up, have them contact
Steve Curtis at sszjcurtis@att.net, or (702)219-6463.
